Skill Level 1 rockets are a step above Ready to Fly or Easy to Build, and are a great place to start for fliers 10 years or older. Fin construction may be plastic or balsa wood, often with some sanding and gluing required. Assembly and installation of the recovery device is often required.  The build may take around an afternoon of activity, although some drying time may be required for glue to cure.
