AltimeterThree is Jolly Logic's entry into connected devices, with this bluetooth connected altimeter. Just download the Android or iPhone app to your phone or tablet, power on the AltimeterThree, and connect from the app. When you're ready to launch, use the app to start flight recording.  Post flight, you can download your flight data directly to your connected device to review, graph, and annotate the flight data or share via email or social media. You can even recover flight data from your altimeter if your rocket lands out of reach in a tree! I've done that experiment while I waited for the electric company to retrieve my Level 1 rocket from power lines 40 feet above my head!

The AltimeterThree supports data recording in multiple flight modes, including

  • Rocket
  • Airplane
  • Quadcopter
  • Glider
  • Helicopter
  • Raptor
  • Kite
  • Experimental (you name it)

Made for iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 7, iPhone 7s, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, iPad with Retina display, iPad Air, iPad mini 2, iPad (4th generation), iPad mini, iPad (3rd generation), iPad 2.

Proper Venting Requirements

You will need to vent your altimeter three so it can sample the outside air pressure during flight. This is best done by drilling 3 or 4 evenly spaced holes around a separate payload section, so the altimeter's electronics aren't harmed by the motor's ejection gasses.
