3/16 inch x 36 inch Steel Launch Rod

This one piece 3/16 inch x 36 inch steel launch rod is ideal for mid sized model rockets powered by D or E motors.  One piece, solid steel construction helps ensure that your models slide off the launch rod without the risk of getting hung up on a joint between two shorter lengths of rod.  And by using steel rather than aluminum, stainless steel, or tubular steel, you get a sturdy, simple, and long lived launch rod. Routine maintenance will ensure a long life for this rod, simply by sanding the motor exhaust and any accumulated rust off the rod and applying a light coat of oil for long periods of storage.
